Absolutely stunning large memorial pendant, heavy high quality built  and just a piece you want to put on a thick chain over your neck and never take off. Crafted of rich looking and feeling high carat gold with delicate beaded gold spheres on the edges including the bail.  
The natural center garnet is a deep purplish red, holds a center old mine cut diamond and rose cut diamonds in a star shape set right on the garnet. On the back, there is a removable small glass compartment that currently holds a piece of blue fabric, it can easily be replaced by your own sentimental object.

Dimensions: Weights 15.9 grams, it's 4.2cm long  or just above 1 1/2in, and 2.7cm wide or just above 1 inch in width. 

Marks/metal: Not marked, tests between 15k-18k gold.

Stones: Center garnet is a 19.7mm x 16mm  oval cabochon, the center old mine cut weights about 12 points / 0.12ct, rose cut diamond weight can not be determined.

Color/clarity: Average I-L  being set with closed backs evaluation of clarity is difficult , but they appear clean and sparkly to the eye.

Condition: This locket is in very good condition with normal surface wear to the metal and the stones, there is one tiny gold bead missing from the outer rim, I will have it replaced before shipping.
