The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and beloved Rolex watches ever made. CASE & BRACELET
The case is in very strong overall condition with crisp, thick, and symmetrical lugs that show no evidence of being previously polished with gentle signs of use present. The unpolished 14K yellow gold fluted bezel is in extremely crisp condition with a subtle rosy patina present and almost no signs of use. The case back retains crisp finishing as well. The era-correct Rolex 78263 two-tone Oyster bracelet with 458J end pieces dates to 1980 and has been gently polished in the past. The bracelet retains 12 links that show no stretch and will fit up to a 7 1/4-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The beautiful metallic yellow "lemon" dial is in flawless condition, showing no damage or age. The tritium lume plots display no degradation and have taken on a handsome golden-yellow patina. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly and exhibit no degradation under U.V. light inspection. The metallic gold date wheel is original with "open" 6's and 9's.
